Discworld Multi User Dungeon

 

As I myself was once a newbie on the disc, I decided to make a help-file for all those of you who can't your way out of it.

 

First some information:

PC: Playing Character: you, me, everybody (thank you blues brothers J )…

NPC: Non-Playing Character: beggars, women, dogs, rats, …

Caution: some NPCs are also part of a quest

BPC: Banished Playing Character: These chars are persons on the disc who are between a PC and a NPC: most of the time they are "involved" in a quest…

Some of the basic commands

Score

Shows you all the information about your character

Consider

Shows you whether your char can win a fight from someone or something

Kill

When you want to kill someone or something (if you're not sure your char can take it, first consider)

Take *** (from ***)

To take something (from someone)

Commands

Gives you a list of every command you learned while playing

Tell (PC)

If you want to tell something to someone (kind of private)

Say or '

To tell something, everyone who's standing beside you can hear this

Look or just l

For a good "picture" of your surroundings

Brief ó verbose

Brief or verbose mode (I prefer brief)

To search an area

Quest-solutions won't be displayed here for two reasons:

- it's discworld-policy that quest-solutions will not be passed through to others

- I've got a hard time myself finding and resolving them: my knowledge about disc-quest is really low J
